The new Munich Art & Culture Centre

KUNSTLABOR 2 celebrated its official opening on 16 October 2021. 

KUNSTLABOR 2 is Munich's largest, cultural interim use project. 

At 15,000 m² indoor and outdoor space of the former health centre at Dachauer Straße 90, the team of the Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA) a New centre for art and culture in Munich. 

The name "KUNSTLABOR 2" follows on from the great success of its predecessor. Besides the permanent Room installations and changing Exhibitionswill feature an extensive supporting programme of Guided tours, Workshops, Film Days, Concerts, Readings, Workshops, Performances and many other cultural highlights are on offer.

The park-like outdoor area of KUNSTLABOR 2 is also transformed into a large art and urban garden in summer. In addition, visitors can follow the ever-changing design process of the outer façade of KUNSTLABOR 2. 

The in-house restaurant AMARi with a large outdoor terrace invites you, like the entire KUNSTLABOR 2, to linger together with friends and family in an extraordinary ambience.
