Alan Myers, plastic artist, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
His works are mainly created on the street and on large-format walls, from Latin America to Europe, and seek to portray fragility and vulnerability as well as people's desires and longings.
This mural is a compilation of images, situations and experiences during my post-pandemic trip that I painted in different cities in Europe. Photos that were sent to me via Whatsapp to let me know how someone I knew was doing; memes that ironise a situation or photos that I took to remember the trip. Be careful, there's no point looking for context in the images, it doesn't. Just go, walk and look around, there is no right way to interpret the mural, your impressions and ideas that come to your mind are fine. On the other hand, I chose 6 paintings for the left side and another 6 for the right side because I wanted to take into account the coincidence that my trip lasted 66 days, I visited 6 cities and made 6 murals, including KUNSTLABOR 2, which incidentally took me 6 days to paint this mural.
