Jody Korbach (*1991 in Bielefeld) grew up in Dortmund, lives and works in Düsseldorf.
She is a permanent member of the Kunstkommission Düsseldorf, a founding member of the Tannhäuser Kreis, founder of EiskellerExport'14 - the football team of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, and founder and board member of the Schützenkorps Europa. Until 2017, she studied free art at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Tal R, Christopher Williams and Johannes Paul Raether and was a master student of Christopher Williams.

The work will negotiate the question of the ambivalence between order and excess. German order and discipline vs systemic failure in the clarification of e.g. right-wing terror etc., bureaucracy vs excess as an outlet for the cage of civil servant life.
