Caratoes is a nomadic artist who hails from Belgium and Hong Kong. She has been travelling the world since 2014, creating murals and installations internationally.
Her latest project is to bring the ancient mythical, divine creatures such as snakes or dragons to life. This involves processing ceremonies and conversations for trauma processing, rebirth and transformation.
The artist sets up installations with body parts of a dragon all over the world. When you are in the space with one of these parts, you are thus also connected to the other places and people. Munich, Tulum, Wuhan, New Zealand... the creature represents a collective healing.
