Luca Ledda (*1984) is an Italian painter and muralist based in Turin.
After graduating in illustration from the European Institute of Design (IED), he starts working in the advertising industry.
After a few years, he decides to focus entirely on his development as a visual artist. He starts painting his illustrations on walls and discovers his passion for urban art and muralism.
He participated in many international festivals and exhibitions in Europe and Latin America.
His grotesque and surrealist style is easily recognisable due to its strong visual impact.
Floral Universe is a place where nature and the universe meet and create an alternative dimension in which the viewer feels overwhelmed.
It is a space for reflection that allows one to connect with a surreal world created by the artist.
This mural deals with the relationship between man and nature.
There has always been a fragile balance in our relationship to the environment and the
nature, especially when looking at our use of precious natural resources.
Our future depends on how determined we are to
to become aware of the immense power of nature and our deep dependence on it.
"With the artwork I want to emphasise that the
Nature is a part of us, deeply rooted in our
body and our soul, and how essential they are for our
Dasein is. The flowers symbolise their very essence.
Only a far-reaching awareness will enable us to live in harmony with what surrounds us.
'Flower Power' is not only a message, it's also a way of life." - Luca Ledda
