Did you know that the first graffiti originated in Ancient Egypt (4000 BC)? There, inscriptions were found scratched in temples, tombs, on rocks and statues.
If you want to learn how artists from the graffiti scene create works on the street today, then KUNSTLABOR 2 is the place for you.
Here you will learn how to spray, tag and cut - everything you need for a finished graffiti work. Always with you is one of our graffiti instructors. They are artists themselves and will tell you exciting things about the scene and help you step by step.
Please note: we offer different "styles" in our workshops, varying according to the season (as no outdoor graffiti workshops can take place in winter).
Our workshops also differ according to the age groups of the participants.
An experienced sprayer from the Munich scene will introduce you to the history of graffiti as well as image construction and comic influences in graffiti.
Style, colours, technique and cool stories await you here with us at the workshop in KUNSTLABOR 2.
All workshops take place at KUNSTLABOR 2, Dachauer Straße 90, 80335 Munich. They take place partly indoors in our large workshop area, partly outdoors in one of our two courtyards.
All participants will be picked up at the reception of KUNSTLABOR 2.
All materials will be provided. Please bring clothes that can get dirty.
The courses will also take place outside in light rain, please bring appropriate clothing. If it rains too much, there is an indoor alternative.
