The international project "New York Black and White" captivates with beautiful black and white images by photographer Alessandra Mattanza, taken in her hometown New York City. In a deeper sense, the images serve as a projection screen for the omnipresent, unignorable situation surrounding social justice, racism and human rights.
The Easter Bunny will be hopping through our exhibition rooms from 15-17 April and will be happy if you collect lots of colourful (chocolate) eggs, which you can of course take home or eat immediately.
As part of our "Meet the Artists" event series, caratoes will be giving a tour of their new space on 15 April and talking about the concept and implementation. Afterwards, there will be a performance and time for open questions and spontaneous conversations.

Here you will learn how to spray, tag and cut - everything you need for a finished graffiti work. Always with you is one of our graffiti instructors. They are artists themselves and will tell you exciting things about the scene and help you step by step.
Fabio Bernardi can be seen for the first time at KUNSTLABOR 2 as part of our "Meet the Artists" programme on 23 & 24 April, from 3-6pm each day. The artist will be present in person.
Fabio Bernardi is an interdisciplinary designer working with architecture, design and art. Born in 1998 in Sterzing, he currently lives and works in South Tyrol, Italy. After completing his studies in interior design in Bavaria, his work focuses intensively on the relationship between man and nature. This background gave rise to an investigation into the matter of snow, which in turn gave rise to the exhibition Alteration.
On our guided tour of the new KUNSTLABOR 2, you can discover a variety of spatial installations from different art genres. Local and international names of contemporary art show spectacular exhibitions and room installations in various rooms.
We are very excited that on 30 April 2022 it will be that time again: we will take part in the third Children's Day in our city!
As programme items, we offer our popular graffiti workshop, a family tour, the open creative workshop and an interactive piano concert for kids.
