The KUNSTLABOR 2 will be extended until 2033 and, as one of the largest cultural interim uses, will create additional spaces for creative professionals
KUNSTLABOR 2 in the former health centre is a privately initiated and privately financed art and cultural centre. KUNSTLABOR 2 pursues the goal of cross-genre creative collaboration and offers many options for co-operation. KUNSTLABOR 2 sees itself as a place that Networking, development and presentation of artists promotes.
With almost 10,000 square metres of space on six floors and a further 6,800 square metres outside, KUNSTLABOR 2 offers space for a variety of concepts. The building houses on the 3rd floor a complete floor of 1,300 square metres with 40 studios available, and a Another floor with up to 20 studios will be created. The building also offers generous office space on the 2nd and 4th floors.
In a creative environment, the KUNSTLABOR 2 Painters, sculptors, designers, photographers, architects, illustrators, graphic designers, start-ups, agencies and many other creative people can pursue their creative process undisturbed.
All spaces (offices/studios/studios) are located in the KUNSTLABOR 2 complex at Dachauerstrasse 90, in the immediate vicinity of the Munich Kunstareal.
Tram stop (Sandstraße) right outside the door. Stiglmaierplatz underground station 3 minutes' walk away.
KUNSTLABOR 2 is a purely privately financed project and is not funded by the city. The entire KUNSTLABOR 2 as well as the studio spaces are run by the Urban Art Organisation team, which also includes the Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA) in Munich's old town.

Meeting point at the reception
The offer is aimed at creative professionals from a wide range of fields, e.g. painters, photographers, sculptors, illustrators, architects, graphic designers, musicians or jewellery designers, etc.
From individual rooms to total areas of up to 1,400 square metres are available.
Most studios have room sizes of approx. 15 - 60 square metres. The room height is approx. 2.70 metres. All rooms have windows/daylight.
Rental price per month: € 13.50 / m² (studios); € 15 - 18.50 / m² (offices) plus 19 % VAT if applicable.
Service charge advance payment: 4 € / m² plus 19 % VAT if applicable.
