Exhibition – „Residual Spaces“

In Residual Spaces, Guido Palmadessa and Alan Myers construct a visual territory where fragments—of bodies, objects, and spaces—converge with echoes of reconstructed memories. Their work acts as an incomplete map, where intimacy blurs and the ordinary transcends its familiarity.

The narrative, far from explicit, invites slow contemplation of the in-between. In these spaces of rupture and reconstruction, the viewer encounters a sensory and emotional experience that transcends the boundaries of the figurative.

What happens to what we leave behind? What persists? What shapes does intimacy take when it fractures?

The residual embodies what remains—those quiet traces of presence that resist fading, that existed before and will persist long after, shaping the spaces we inhabit.
