Vernissage for the exhibition "Fabric Stories - about globally moving materials".

Fashion touches us all - every day! But not all fashion is the same: the term "fast fashion" refers to an economic model in which collections are designed quickly, sold at low prices and in bulk - usually at the expense of people and the environment. Where social and ecological standards do not apply, grievances prevail.

In order to point out global problems, show alternatives and think about the future, the exhibition "Fabric stories - about globally moving materials"by Engagement Global. Students and teachers at the Academy of Fashion & Design AMD Munich have intensively studied eight types of textiles and harmonised social aspects, the history of fabrics and material science in the exhibition concept.

Now the exhibition will be on display for the first time! We would like to cordially invite you to it:

Only the visit to the exhibition "Stoffgeschichten - über global bewegte Materialien" is free of charge. If you would like to visit the other exhibitions in KUNSTLABOR 2, you pay the regular entrance fee.
