At the age of 13, Lise-Christine Kobla Mendama became a member of "Afro Jugend München". The independent youth welfare organisation focuses on empowerment in the Afro-German community and helped organise Germany's largest Black Lives Matter demonstration in 2020. There, she gave a life-changing speech to the 25,000 protesters present. After the media hype, she created new creative paths on a freelance basis and has since been performing under the stage name "QUEEN Lizzy" on big stages (Hype Festival, Residenztheater, Oben Ohne Festival, Olympiastadion, Muffathalle, Ampere etc.).
With Gündalein's debut single "I'm Crazy" from 2020, the Munich musician and activist made a direct impact and has since been one of the most hyped newcomers on the scene. Since 2021, she can be found on almost all stages in Munich, such as Bahnwärter Thiel, Backstage München, Import Export or even in the Olympic Stadium.
The newcomer's music is a mix of hip-hop and RnB and influences from legends like Amy Winehouse and Lauryn Hill.
