On 12 November 2022, 10:00 - 15:00, we invite children to the architecture festival ARCHIKIDZ! in Munich (https://m.facebook.com/archikidz.ua/).
ARCHIKIDZ! - This is a great masterclass with real architects as teachers.

Children work together with architects on projects: First they choose a common idea, then they discuss the project and give tasks to each participant, then they build a model of the project together out of materials. At the end, each team has to present their project to the parents and all participants. This interesting work teaches children to think creatively, courageously and in a modern way. Children think about
the world around them, ecology, environment, urban planning. Architecture can be a good start to a future passion and professional training. Mixed teams of German and Ukrainian children aged 7 to 16 take part in the festival.

Why is the ARCHIKIDZ Festival taking place in Munich?

As a result of the war, at least 4,000 Ukrainian children are refugees in Bavaria, and this year's second architecture festival ARCHIKIDZ is dedicated to them!
The festival format was first held in Amsterdam in 1998. Since 2017, ARCHIKIDZ! has also been held in Ukraine under the direction of the Junior Academy of Sciences. The event is funded by the European Cultural Foundation and takes place in cooperation with KUNSTLABOR, Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, LEUPOLD BROWN GOLDBACH ARCHITECT and KATE RO ARCHITECT.

Purpose of the festival:
- Support for the social integration of Ukrainian children
- Getting to know German children through teamwork in a
Architecture workshop
- Improving social skills and promoting creativity
- Creation of architectural models with professional guidance

Procedure:
- Start Event 12 November 2022, 10:00 a.m.
Meeting point: Dachauer Str. 90, 80333 Munich, KUNSTLABOR
- Final presentations 14:00
- End 15:00

The event is FREE and includes: Working with children, materials to create models, snacks and water, certificates and lots of fun. We look forward to receiving registrations from your Ukrainian and German children aged 7-16!

Чому фестиваль ARCHIKIDZ! проходить у Мюнхені?
Внаслідок війни щонайменше 4000 українських дітей перебувають у Баварії як біженці.
і саме їм присвячений вже другий в цьому році фестиваль архітектури ARCHIKIDZ!
Вперше формат фестивалю відбувся в Амстердамі в 1998 році. З 2017 року
ARCHIKIDZ! проходить в Україні у рамках програми Малої академії наук України.
