Melike's art cannot be categorised: It has changed over time, grown and reshaped itself depending on the surface, space and moment. Sometimes it is bold in public, sometimes gentle and multi-layered in the studio. But there is always something constant that runs through it: a feeling of fluidity that remains, even if everything else changes. Not fixed, but in motion, gently changing with what comes. Each work carries this movement within it, characterised by the place, the material, the feeling. The form changes, the flow remains.
