Between glamour and shadow, between appearance and truth - my works move where opposites meet. I create a field of tension from colour and structure: Light against dark, order against chaos, surface against depth.<\/p>\n
The eye takes centre stage - as a symbol of seeing and not seeing. It observes, reflects, deceives, recognises. It stands for the attempt to look behind the smooth fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n
The exhibition is an exploration of opposites that are mutually dependent. No light without shadow. No rich without poor. No good without evil.
\nIt is also a reflection of the city I come from: Munich - beautiful, clean, perfect. At least at first glance. But beneath the surface, another truth is revealed if you look closely enough.<\/p>\n
These works do not invite you to simply look at them, but to pause for a moment. To question. To recognise that the beautiful only exists because the ugly is there.<\/p>\n
