A BETTER PLANET, A BETTER WORLD is an art project and a campaign (www.abetterplanetabetterworld.com<\/a>), created by the multimedia artist\u00a0Alessandra<\/span>\u00a0. It is dedicated to raising awareness about protecting nature, flora and\nfauna, the environment, and Indigenous Cultures through the power of the arts. It\ncombines photography, poetry, literature, technology, AI, and innovation to create\nnew solutions.<\/p>

A BETTER PLANET, A BETTER WORLD supports the United Nations\u2019 SDGs<\/p>

A BETTER PLANET, A BETTER WORLD was also inspired by the book \"SOS Planet\nEarth,\n\" published by White Star and National Geographic publishers.<\/p>

It has a Foreword by Borge Brende, the President of the World Economic Forum,\nand an Introduction by Gavin Schmidt, the President of NASA in New York<\/p>

It features interviews to save the planet, by Alessandra Mattanza,\u00a0Alessandra<\/span>\u00a0Mattanza,<\/p>

with many visionaries such as Leonardo Di Caprio, Matt Damon, Robert Redford,\nBarack and Michelle Obama, Cate Blanchett, Harrison Ford, Barack and Michelle\nObama, Richard Branson, Elon Musk, Greta Thunberg, Marc Benioff.<\/p>

The book will also be at the art exhibition in Munich<\/p>

Alessandra<\/span>\u00a0Alessandra Mattanza, an accomplished fine art photographer, bestselling and multi-awarded author, and\nversatile multimedia artist, discovered her passion for storytelling through photography at the tender age of\nsix in the picturesque Italian countryside. AUGUSTO FERRETTI<\/b><\/p>

ARCHITECT AND ART CURATOR<\/b><\/p>

Born in Rome, Augusto spent his formative teenage years studying in Tokyo, Japan, before\nreturning to Italy to graduate from Rome's prestigious La Sapienza University, where he\nreceived his Italian Architectural Master's degree and practicing license. Influenced by the rich\narchitectural history of both countries, Augusto developed a passion for structural design and\narchitectural ideology.<\/p>

Upon graduating, he moved to New York in 2001, where he felt he could experiment with\nvarious styles and forms. He then began working as a freelance designer for exhibitions, art\ninstallations, and trade shows. Projects included utilizing lighting design in New York Art\ngalleries and exhibits.<\/p>

In the following years, he expanded this work to include several large-scale exhibition projects\nthroughout the United States. As a multi-talented and diverse designer, Augusto oversaw and\ncoordinated art exhibitions such as the Italian artist Gaetano Pesce's large-scale Pesce for\nLunch exhibit at the ICFF, the inauguration of the Italian Emigration Museum in New Jersey, the\nMoleskine New Notebook Design Launching Party; Inner Earth Exhibition at The MACC Art\nMuseum; and most famously, he curated, designed, and built the photographic exhibition of\nBernardo Bertolucci's Images in tandem with the director's retrospective at MoMA.<\/p>

During this time, Augusto expanded his architectural portfolio by working as a freelance\ndesigner for New York architectural firms on residential and commercial projects, utilizing his\nspecific interest in contemporary design and minimalist features. Partnering with local\narchitects, he contributed to the planning and building a wide range of projects, including\nresidential complexes, private mansions, restaurants, galleries, landscaping, and landmark and\nindustrial renovations.<\/p>

As his body of work grew, he began branching out as an individual designer, allowing him to\nfocus on a more artistically inspired career. He began personally designing commercial and\nresidential spaces that included both interior design and exterior renovation work. In 2010, he\nformed crAft-nyc, an architectural design studio involved with interior renovations of residential\nand commercial spaces and exhibition design.<\/p>

Today, Augusto is working on designing several townhouse and luxury apartment renovations\nand lobby designs in New York. He plans to do more exhibition work in museums and galleries,\nas well as in the urban environment and nature.<\/p>
