We cordially invite you to the book launch of STREET ART IS FEMALE with Alessandra Mattanza (author) and Stephanie Utz (co-founder of MUCA\/KUNSTLABOR 2), who wrote the foreword to the book. Moderator for the evening: Antonio Pellegrino.<\/p>\n

The richly illustrated book Street Art is Female offers the first comprehensive overview of the female street art scene. Award-winning journalist Alessandra Mattanza presents 24 international female artists in exciting portraits based on interviews. In them, the female artists talk about their lives and their work. Based on a collective female experience, their themes focus on empowerment, feminism, pink revolution, body shaming and body images, as well as racism and environmental issues. Because street art is not only feminine, but the essence of rebellion itself.<\/p>\n

Visitors can look forward to drinks and personal conversations with artists, including Hera. Hera has been active as a street artist for over 20 years and sees herself as a storyteller in public space. Her style ranges from impulsive sketchy lines to detailed, naturalistic painting.<\/p>\n
